ATP World Tour: Djokovic Defeats David Goffin 6-1, 6-2
Serbian Tennis Player Novak Djokovic has qualified for the semi-finals by defeating Belgium’s David Goffin at the ATP World Tour Finals.
He completed the group stage with a convincing 6-1 6-2 win and had this to say;
"Undoubtedly I felt the most comfortable today from the two previous matches. I felt like I increased the quality of tennis compared to the other matches.
"I was preparing to face Gael and then found out it was going to be David. It was not easy for him. But he practised and, although he didn't play his best tennis today, he is a high-quality player.
"It was hard for me because you have to make certain adjustments tactically for two different players. David is very quick and with Gael, you never know what is going to come on to court. He can be unpredictable.
"I tried to put myself in the right frame of mind no matter who was stood on the opposite side of the net."
Djokovic, 29, needs to better Andy Murray's results in London to overtake the Briton in the rankings.
Murray who won his first two group matches will play Stan Wawrinka on Friday.
