Hazard On Kante: ‘Sometimes I think I’m playing with twins’
Chelsea
super star Eden Hazard was impressed by team-mate N’Golo
Kante performance in their side’s 2-1 victory over West
Ham on Monday evening.
The Belgian forward scored the Blues’
opening goal at the London Stadium and came away with the man of the match
award but he chose to highlight Kante’s outstanding performance.
While Kante joined Chelsea for a fee of
£30million last summer, Hazard believes Antonio Conte basically got two players
for the price of one when he landed the French midfielder.
‘Sometimes I think I’m playing with
twins,’ Hazard told Chelsea TV after his goal scoring display in the
London derby.
Kante is the favourite to be named the PFA Player of the Year at the end of the season and it’s no surprise based on his showings in Chelsea colours this term.
If Conte’s men go on to win the Premier
League, the midfielder would have successfully won back-to-back titles with
separate clubs.
