Chelsea Fans To Get Free Beer Ahead Of Manchester City Clash
Chelsea's supporters will be treated to a free
beer prior to their crunch Premier League clash with Manchester City.
The freebie has been arranged by
the west London club as a way to reward fans for their "loyal
support" this season.
Fans who enter through the
Stamford Bridge turnstiles between 6.30pm and 7.15pm on Wednesday night will be
handed a voucher which can in turn be exchanged for a bottle of Singha beer or
a bottle of water.
League leaders Chelsea lead
fourth-placed City by 11 points and can effectively end Pep Guardiola's side's
title hopes with win.
However, a second successive loss
after their defeat by Crystal Palace at the weekend will allow second-placed
Spurs the chance to move to within four points of their London rivals if they
win at Swansea.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has urged his players
to remain calm ahead of City's visit.
Conte said on Tuesday: “At this
moment, I'm pleased with my players. I'm seeing, always, great commitment from
my players.
"It can happen. You can lose
the game. But we didn't deserve to win the game against Crystal Palace. But
football is wonderful also for this type of result. And tomorrow we'll have
another game."
