Two Nigerians Brutally Beaten In South Africa Beaten
Two middle aged Nigerians were brutally beaten and almost killed by some
South Africans in Kuruman Northern Cape province in South Africa.
The gory incident occurred on Friday,May 12th, and both men were left with serious
injuries.
A Facebook user, Ugo Martin Ugbaje who is based in South Africa, shared
the photos of the battered men and wrote; “May God save us in this country
south Africa. Two Nigerian guys almost murdered yesterday in Kuruman northern
cape if not because of police help their lives could have been a story by now”.
The victims of the mob attack who were
accused of selling drugs to students were beaten mercilessly by a mob in South
Africa. Sequel to the allegation, a South African facebook user, Oageng Mol
Louw, reacted to Ugbaje’s post, and said those who
attacked the victims were only protecting their children’s future.
He added that “There is no racist[ism] in this matter. Protecting our
kids and their future is important.”
“You guys know how dangerous those stuff are, yet you’re selling them to
school kids. Now that’s heartless.”
It
would be recalled that the attack was perpetrated two days after two Nigerians
were shot dead in the Western Cape province of South Africa.Mike Ibitoye, chairman of the Nigeria union in South Africa, identified the victims as Ernest Ughakwesili, 42, from Anambra state, and Chimezie Oranusi, 26, also from Anambra.
