England Job: Arsene Wenger Hints On A Possibilty
Arsenal manager
Arsene Wenger has hinted on the possibility of managing the “Three Lions” "one day" soon after club
commitments.
The
Frenchman celebrated his 20 years as manager of the Gunners with a convincing win
against their London rivals, Chelsea this past weekend but has again been
linked with the national team job after Sam Allardyce's contract was terminated
over controversial remarks he made to undercover reporters from the Daily
Telegraph.
His
Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season and there has been no
confirmation yet of whether the 67-year-old will sign a new deal with the north
London club.
Wenger
said about the England job at a news conference on Friday morning:
"My
priority is to do well here. If I am free one day, why not?"
