Shooting Star Player, Izu Joseph Is Dead

Shooting Stars football club of Ibadan have announced the death of their defender Izu Joseph on Monday morning.

Report has it that the showy player was hit by a stray bullet in Bayelsa state on Sunday, and was rushed to a nearby by hospital where he gave up the ghost.

It will be recalled that late Izu scored a late minute goal for the Ibadan based outfit in their 2-1 defeat of Nasarawa United in a Nigeria Professional Football League encounter.

“A Shooting STAR is gone! Izu Joseph is gone! Flamboyant defender is gone! RIP, brother. What a life! May God strengthen his family,” 3SC twitted.
