Arsenal Collapse At Alliance Arena: Bayern Munich 5-1 Arsenal

After going into the half-time dressing room level at 1-1, three second-half goals saw Arsenal slump to a 5-1 defeat.
It was the hosts who took the lead when Arjen Robben was allowed to cut in front the right and unleash a left-footed shot into David Ospina's top right-hand corner.
The Gunners equaliser was fortuitous to say the least, as the visitors were awarded a dubious penalty which Alexis Sanchez saw saved, only for him to bury his second rebound.
But three goals in ten second-half minutes looks to have ended the Gunners European hopes for another year as Robert Lewandowski and a Alcantara brace heaped more misery on Wenger's men. Substitute Thomas Muller completed the route with a fifth for Carlo Ancelotti's men.
