Alvaro Morata Arrives London Ahead Of Chelsea Move

Real Madrid striker, Alvaro Morata has arrived in London to finalise his £70million move to Chelsea.

He touched down at Heathrow on Thursday morning after Chelsea made a breakthrough in negotiations with the European champions.

Standard Sport understands the Blues will pay £58million up front with the rest made up in various add-ons and clauses.

Morata said farewell to his Real colleagues in Los Angeles on Wednesday and received a round of applause from the squad.

The 24-year-old's departure marks the end of his second spell at Real Madrid following two seasons at Juventus.

Antonio Conte played a major role in Morata's move to Juve in 2014 before the now Chelsea boss became manager of the Italian national side. 

And Morata revealed the Italian was again a major draw as he arrived in the capital to complete a move to the Stamford Bridge club.
