Valentine Day Massacre: Paris Saint-Germain 4-0 Barcelona
Barcelona's
Champions League hopes are left hanging by a thread after their 4-0 humbling at
the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their last-16 tie.
Angel Di Maria's free-kick, on his 29th birthday, gave the hosts the
lead after 18 minutes before Julian Draxler made the French side's dominance
count with a well-taken effort before the break.
The dominance continued after the interval, with Di Maria curling home
his second and Edinson Cavani finally getting on the scoresheet himself,
leaving Barcelona needing a miraculous recovery when the two sides meet in
Spain in three weeks time.
